Getting there by Car / Taxi

 Edinburgh Airport is located just 12km from the centre of Edinburgh. When travelling from Edinburgh, head along the A8 towards Glasgow. If travelling from the opposite side, follow the A8 towards Edinburgh. The airport is clearly signposted from the A8.
For passengers wishing to travel out of the airport by taxi there is a taxi rank by the coach park just outside the UK arrivals hall. Short Stay

The short stay car park is within easy walking distance of the terminal building and is ideal for stays up to a few hours and dropping off and collecting passengers. There is also a short stay multi-storey car park right opposite the terminal building offering 2000 spaces.

Long Stay Parking

 Edinburgh airport offers one on-airport long stay car park and several off-airport car parks which all have regular courtesy shuttle buses running to and from the terminal. It is recommended that you book long stay parking in advance and that extra time is allowed for transfers.
