Getting there by Car / Taxi
Edinburgh Airport is located just 12km from the centre of Edinburgh.
When travelling from Edinburgh, head along the A8 towards
Glasgow. If travelling from the opposite side, follow
the A8 towards Edinburgh. The airport is clearly signposted
from the A8.
For passengers wishing to travel out of the airport
by taxi there is a taxi rank by the coach park just
outside the UK arrivals hall. For those who wish to
book, Executive Onward Travel are the airport's
official pre-booking taxi company. Journey time to the
city centre is around 25 minutes and fares vary depending
on distance. All drivers are professionally trained

Short Stay
The short stay car park is within easy walking distance
of the terminal building and is ideal for stays up to
a few hours and dropping off and collecting passengers.
There is also a short stay multi-storey car park right
opposite the terminal building offering 2000 spaces.
- Prices start at £1.30 for up to half an hour.
Long Stay Parking
Edinburgh airport offers one on-airport long stay car park and several
off-airport car parks which all have regular courtesy
shuttle buses running to and from the terminal. It is
recommended that you book long stay parking in advance
and that extra time is allowed for transfers.

For those not wishing to transfer from the car park
to the terminal, valet parking is a great option. A
chauffeur will meet you at your departure terminal and
transfer your car for you to a secure compound. You
